Hi!
My name is Elyse and at the moment I'm the person editing this blog. Later on, as I get more people blogger savvy, you'll be hearing from pretty much every person on the Lismore Youth Core Team.
For example, Beth posted the pics of our 'outing' at Rocky Creek Dam... and did an awesome job!
The Core Team are the leaders of our Catholic youth groups, which are (at the moment) Compass and Voltage. See group Pages (above) for more info on each.
Voltage is a high-powered night for kids in years 7-10. The focus is on learning about your faith, PLUS playing a lot of incredibly fun games.
Date: Every Sunday
Compass is for young adults who want to share their faith and have a great discussion on a huge range of topics. The environment is relaxed and friendly- everyone is welcome!
Date: Every Wednesday
So that's our youth groups. We have one other youth event which has the title Thursday Night Social Night.... ok, so we haven't really got around to naming that one.
It has been put on break for a while until we can get steady on our feet running the other two.
It will be for any older teens and young adults who want to hang and relax and talk and watch a movie and play games... whatever we feel like!
